Key Club is a volunteer organization with a chapter at Olympia High School; its goal is help raise money for different programs  in need and to help people in need.

Key Club is an international volunteer organization that allows students at Olympia to take part in helping in many ways.  No matter the job, they are willing to help out in any way they can.

“I joined my freshman year. My favorite part of Key Club is the chill, laid back group. We know what we’re supposed to do, and we do it, but we also have fun getting together and doing it,” said Annalise Marsiglio Senior.

Key Club has helped a lot this school year. Some Key Club members at Olympia have helped with Peoria March Madness, Miner Trunk-or-Treat, Spartan Bowling. “We had a blast tying blankets for the Children's hospital. It allowed us to be chill and talk to each other, and we also were helping people at the same time,” said Marsiglio.

“I’ve been in Key Club for three years my favorite part is getting to participate in projects that are really impacting our community. I helped once in a group to plan a project and it was really cool thinking of what would really help. I think being involved in something you know is meaningful just reassures why you are in it,” said Carlee Streenz, Senior.

Key Club doesn’t just help benefiting communities, but it teaches students that helping others can be as simple as giving a few hours can help the rest of someone else's life.
