Dress-up to Support St. Jude

Did you know that it takes an average of 2.2 million dollars per day to run St. Jude Children's Research Hospital?  And that from treatments to travel to housing, families never receive a bill from St. Jude?

To support St. Jude and the members of our Olympia community participating in the St. Jude Run from Olympia to Peoria on July 18th, the OMS Student Council is hosting dress-up days next week, March 16th-20th, to raise money to donate to St. Jude.  OMS students and staff are encouraged to bring $1 per day to dress up with 100% of the profits going towards St. Jude.

The dress up days are as follows:

Monday: Pajama day: Wear your pajamas to school.

Tuesday: Future career/college day: Dress like you would for your future dream job or favorite college.

Wednesday: Animal print day: Wear animal print.

Thursday: Favorite fictional character day: Dress like your favorite fictional character from a show, movie, book, etc.

Friday: Spartan Day: Wear your Spartan gear to show support for the Spartans participating in the St. Jude Run! On Spartan Day, donate as much as you see fit to St. Jude!  $1, $5, $10... anything helps the cause!

If dressing up really isn't your thing, don't worry; you can still donate money to St. Jude!  Our OMS goal is to raise at least $1,000 by the end of the week.  Donations will be collected first hour and the first hour with the highest amount raised will win a doughnut party!
