OHS STUDENTS SUPPORT THE MCLEAN YOUTH RELAY FOR LIFE

Olympia High School students will be participating in the McLean County Relay for Life on Friday, May 11 from 6 pm to 6 am Saturday. McLean County High Schools bring their Relay teams to the lock-in event which is being held at TrI Valley High School in Downs. The night includes games, food, karaoke, lip-sync contest, live bands, inflatables, Mr. Relay Contest, Survivor Celebration, the Luminaria Ceremony, and much more. So far, at least 30 Olympia High School students have joined a team and are currently raising money. Their goal is to raise at least $1,000 which will be donated to the American Cancer Society.

As part of the fundraiser, t-shirts are being sold for $10.  Anyone wishing to order a t-shirt can email rebecca.kath@olympia.org or connie.schroeder@olympia.org with your order. Please make sure to include the number of shirts and sizes. In addition, students will be at some of the home events to collect donations. Or, donation checks payable to the American Cancer Society can be mailed to Olympia High School, 7832 North 100 East Rd., Stanford, IL 61774.
