As of the May 12th Board meeting, the Olympia District had a vacancy / open Board seat. Multiple applications were submitted but after conducting interviews, the Olympia CUSD 16 Board of Education appointed Dr. Andy Rummel to the vacant Board seat. Dr. Rummel has been a resident of the District for 18 years and has two children that attend OHS. He has been a music professor at Illinois State University for the past nineteen years. He comes from a long line of educators and is looking forward to serving the Olympia community as a Board member. Welcome Dr. Rummel!
