E-Learning Day Jan 23

Parents & Students,

We have been monitoring rural road conditions throughout the day.  While some of the main country roads are clear, there are multiple roads and areas of the district that are not clear and we know many areas will not be salted.  We are hearing that we should not expect the untreated roads to clear, even with rain, until temps rise to the mid-thirties and that will not happen until mid-morning tomorrow at the earliest.  It has also been difficult to clear our parking lots and sidewalks and more freezing rain is in the forecast for tonight / overnight.

Given there were no major internet or power outages throughout the District today, we are going to have an eLearning Day tomorrow, Tuesday, January 23rd.  Students will not report to school.

Elementary students should work on their snow packets and middle and high school students should log on to each class.  Principals and teachers will share more detailed information for 6th - 12th grade students.

We will make a decision about extra curricular events later in the day tomorrow.

Thank you.
