Ms. Metz's second graders completed a Halloween STEM activity. They were to create haunted houses, complete with three ghosts! The only criteria was that they had to use all 20 cups and all 3 ghosts had to be on the very top of their house. Every group's haunted house design was unique, and all groups met the criteria! Very creative, second graders!!!

First graders in Mrs. Gray's classes reviewed the emotional zones of regulation...Halloween style! We found Frankensteins around the room and labeled their emotions. We also read "Gustavo the Shy Ghost" by Flavia Z. Drago and discussed what zones Gustavo was in throughout the book. Afterwards, we revisited our Frankenstein feelings and colored them by zone.
