It was an awesome day for the Olympia Track and Field team in Greenville, IL! Beautiful weather and excellent running, throwing and jumping. The girls brought home a ton of hardware:

The 4x800 (Amelia Kistner, Amanda Gonzalez, Kaylie Dare and Emma Swartzendruber) got 4th place with a time of 10:50.04
The 4x200 (Charlee Durham, Mya Downs, Madyson Bridgeforth and Grace Whiteside) got 8th place with a time of 1:56.9
Emma Swartzendruber 4th in the 800 with an amazing PR run of 2:29.7
Melissa Bieber 4th places in the 100m hurdles and 5th place in the 300m hurdles
Amelia Kistner got 5th place in the 1600

It was a great way to start the outdoor season, memories were made and these Spartans are ready to hit some big goals.
The high school track teams went south today to catch some beautiful weather at the 20-team Greenville Invitational! Both teams earned a large supply of medals and ended the day with the girls' team placing 5th and the guys placing 6th. On the guys' side top performers were:
Nolen Yeary-2nd place in the shot put(46' 8").
Keagan Uphoff- 2nd place in the 110 hurdles(17.09) and 1st place in the 300 hurdles(41.02).
Logan Demling, Cooper Phillips, Jacob Lawless, and CJ Moore- season PR and 3rd in the 4x800 relay.
Other season best times included:
Cooper Phillips (2:15.2) and CJ Moore (2:13.9) in their 4x800 split times.
Chase Ragar, TJ Gellner, Kaleb Jacobs, and Kadyn Wilcox in the 4x200 relay (1:39.82).
Caden Clark in the 3200 run (11:18.96) and the 1600 run (5:14.38).
