6th Grade Orientation
It was a cold night at Deemack High school, but that didn’t stop our girls from showing up and showing out at the first outdoor track meet of the season! From our 3 freshman throwers Kennadi Craig, Abagail Bridgewater and Kynlee Miller competing in their first ever High school outdoor meet to Annaston Piro jumping a PR of 4.72m earning her 2nd place in long jump, a super fast 4x1 (Mya Downs, Gabby Dickhut, Madyson Bridgeforth and Charlee Durham) taking 1st place with a time of 52.1, and a well ran 1600 by Amelia Kistner taking 1st place with a time of 5:39. Several season bests were achieved in various events throughout the meet. The team kicked off the season with grit, energy, and some serious success. Proud of this crew already—and we’re just getting started. Let’s go, Oly girls track team!
