Varsity baseball falls to St. Thomas More tonight 9-7. LaBelle, Walker with two hits apiece. B. Tackett(6IP, 2ER, 5K's). Spartans are on the road tomorrow at Maroa Forsyth at 4:30.

Our freshman mentors did some tremendous work at the PBIS workshop at the ROE! Thank you to Ami Flammini for hosting us and facilitating this opportunity for our students. It was incredible to watch the students take ownership and share their insight on what can be done to help improve our schools. It'll be exciting to see what this group can accomplish in the coming years!

The Olympia High School girls track team brought the heat in Riverton since they hosted the Rochester Invite this past Friday, putting up PRs and
season bests all over the track and field!
Anna Gordon (9.13 meters) & Kynlee Miller (8.80 meters) both threw personal bests in the shot put!
The 4x800 squad (Amelia, Mira, Kaylie, Emma) clocked another strong 10:13, with PR splits from Emma and Mira!
Emma Swartzendruber (2:24.3) and Kaylie (2:42.3) crushed the 800!
Amelia Kistner ran a fast PR of 5:33.8 in the 1600, with Sidney Beavers setting a SB at 6:37.5!
Gabby Dickhut PR’d in both the 100 (13.51) and 200 (27.66)!
Annaston Piro also PR’d in the 100 (13.90), while Madyson Bridgeforth ran season best of 28.82 in the 200!
The 4x200 (Annaston, Mya, Charlee, Gabby) flew to a 1:52.9 finish!
In the 400, Maddison Long ran 1:16.3 and Noelia Rojo hit a season best with 1:33.7.
The 4x400 relay (Charlee, Mira, Amelia, Emma) took 2nd place with a blazing 4:17.0—just shy of the state qualifying time! All four girls threw down incredible splits!
So proud of this team’s heart, hustle, and growth. Let’s keep climbing!






The OHS boys' track team tallied up another dozen season-best performances at the Rochester Rocket Invite last Friday night. Those improvements came from:
Norman Bone in the 110 m hurdles (20.57)
Kadyn Wilcox in the 100 m dash (11.66)
Chrystian Neal in the 100 m dash (13.10)
Cohen Alexander in the 400 m dash(51.95)
Paul Yeary in the 400 m dash (59.25)
Cohen Maness in the shot put (41' 1.5")
Kaleb Jacobs (52.7) and Brendon Hardimon (54.9) with their 400 splits in the 4x400 relay
Kadyn Wilcox, Cohen Alexander, Kaleb Jacobs, and Chase Ragar in the 4x100 relay (44.99)
CJ Moore, Cohen Ellis, Evan Petri, and Paul Yeary in the 4x800 relay (9:31.85)......within this relay, CJ Moore (2:11.5) and Paul Yeary (2:22.3) each had season-best 800 m splits.



Varsity baseball splits today in Beardstown. Oly gets the win over Camp Point Central 9-1. Hohulin(3H). LaBelle(7IP, 1ER, 14K's). Spartans let an 8-3 lead slip away vs Beardstown in the second game and lose 11-8. Birky(HR, 3RBI).

JV Baseball splits with East Peoria today. Loses the the first game 11-6 and wins BIG in the 2nd game 20-5.

Varsity baseball walks off Auburn tonight 6-5. Dabney, Birky, Alford, Gellner, Kleinschmidt and I. Tackett(GW RBI) with a hit apiece. Dabney(5IP, 8K's). Walker(2IP, 0R). Spartans are at Beardstown Saturday vs Camp Point Central at noon and Beardstown at 2:00.

Varsity Softball with a big home conference win over conference leader Auburn 3-1. The Lady Spartans now share the conference lead improving to 4-1 in the Sangamo and 10-6-1 overall. Lydia Rutledge with 2 RBIs, driving in the first run of the game with a base hit in the third. In the sixth inning, Lydia drove in the go-ahead & winning run, with Morgan Huffington adding an RBI bunt single. Gabby Frye continued to be a force in the circle, scattering 5 hits and allowing one earned run with six strikeouts. Gabby also with two hits, including a double.
